In 2001, Cherylee was inspired mid-career to completely change course and pursue a career as a financial planner. Her first advisor role was with American Express Financial Advisors (now Ameriprise). Over fifteen years later, she hasn’t looked back.
Her background in the financial planning industry is varied and extensive: client work, firm management and leadership, and product wholesaling. While with Genworth Financial, Cherylee became a noted expert for teaching financial advisors the importance of Long-Term Care planning as an essential component of comprehensive financial planning. Finally, after time with Ameriprise, Genworth, and Thrivent Financial, Cherylee chose to join an independent firm, aligning herself with Securian Advisors Northwest.
Cherylee’s philosophy is all about helping her clients get to the true heart of the matter: helping clients envision, dream, create, plan and, ultimately, fully engage in their true and authentic life goals. She stands by each client over the long-haul, assisting them on their path as they work toward achieving their financial goals. Cherylee holds her FINRA Series 7, and 66 registrations, and is licensed for insurance in the State of Washington.
Cherylee has been a resident of the Eastside for 32 years. She resides in Woodinville with her husband, Christopher. Their daughter, Hailey, is a senior at WSU. Cherylee’s stepson, Max, is currently residing in Europe.
